David Chastain is a steady, respected leader who has dedicated years of service to Cobb County as the School Board member for Post 4. His leadership is grounded in experience, common sense, and a lifelong commitment to the community he calls home.
David was raised in Cobb County and attended Brumby Elementary, East Cobb Junior High, and Wheeler High School before graduating from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. His deep connection to Cobb is not theoretical—it is personal, generational, and enduring.
David and his wife Lori have been married for decades and raised three children who all attended and graduated from Cobb County Schools. Today, their grandchildren attend Cobb schools, continuing a family tradition rooted in strong public education.
